Barbela Design
A New York City native, Michelle began her career in philanthropy after graduate school and comes from a long family history of jewelers dating back to 1930s Antwerp, Belgium. Recognizing a need for affordable yet stylish fine jewelry for the millennial woman, she left her corporate career to launch Barbela Design in 2014. Her goal was to create timeless pieces that become staples in any woman’s jewelry collection, blending urban and classic design elements.
